Citizens Advice East Devon are introducing our new advice service supporting Honiton and the whole of East Devon who are impacted by employment and redundancies. Not only is this support arriving at a critical time to a lot of people, it will also allow us the opportunity to provide additional skills and training to our local community.
Our trained advisors will be on hand to advise and support our client's employment and redundancy queries, from entitlement questions to tribunal support, ensuring people are being treated fairly.
We are really thrilled to introduce an additional element to this service by collaborating with Devon County Council alongside Learn Devon who have designed 5 learning opportunities to support our clients back to employment and education. This will be offered to anyone that contacts us and expresses a need to support them back to employment. Courses include CV writing, online interview skills, or overcoming your fears about employment to name a few.
Some people may need to access our employment and redundancy advice for the first time, and others may need advice on how to manage other areas that have been impacted by their change of circumstances such as Housing, Benefit check, Debt advice. These are all areas that our trained advisors are experienced in dealing with, and can support you with over the telephone and online.
