Force Cancer Charity who provide for Chemotherapy treatments, Counselling and complementary therapy treatments at Honiton Hospital, are holding a special raffle to help raise money to continue this service.

If you head to Honiton High Street, you may well notice Bertie the bear sitting near the window of estate agents, Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

The four-foot-tall soft toy was donated by Maggie Wynn, owner of the shop Just Cards next door, who wanted to raise money for FORCE Cancer Charity – a local organisation that provides support for people who are receiving cancer treatment.

Bertie is now the prize for a raffle - the proceeds of which will go to FORCE Cancer Charity, with the ticket to be drawn on Friday 13 December.

People are encouraged to pop into Greenslade Taylor Hunt (GTH), located at number 111 on the High Street and say 'hi' to Bertie, who has come all the way from London on the train and is keen to find a home with a family he can adopt as his own.

Raffle tickets cost just £1 a strip.
